Unicon 2012

Online rego is now closed so we can print out the entries and get AON ready for the convention.

However, don't panic if you haven't gotten your con rego sorted, you can still register at the con on the day.

So we'll see you there... We WILL see you there, right?

Capital Offensive is a new board game by Howard Tayler of Schlock Mercenary fame. I received my copies earlier this week, and as a result the game will be available to play in any of the Ticket to Hoity Settlers of Munchkin! sessions.

According to the box, Capital Offensive is "A tactical game of violence as a first resort", where you play as the Toughs or their enemies in a tactical shoot-em-up for 2 to 4 players.

Priscilla: Orcs of the Wasteland, is the uplifting story of five orcs going in search of their inner cheerleader, by Adam Raymond.

We've added Werewolves, a psychological party game for 9 or more, presented by Vincent Cao; and Or, A Griffin Rampant Gules (The Red Griffin), a Dragon Warriors adventure for four to six novices on the verge of greatness by Shaun Hately.

Please note: AON will still read pre-con, as we are still getting a few more events in, but all the events we have are up on the website and waiting for player entry.

Notice is unfortunately a bit short this year, however the call for events for Unicon 2012 has begun!

We will be returning to Melbourne High School on Saturday 6 October and Sunday 7 October. Game sessions will be 3 hours long, and we will have access to the Rotunda, Canteen and smaller rooms throughout the main building.

So now is the time to submit your freeforms, tabletops, multiforms and living games.

We encourage you to run a new game at Unicon, especially anything that pushes the envelope a little (or a lot – new dimensions are fun to explore!).

Unicon is on once again. Unicon will once again be running at Melbourne High School, in South Yarra over the weekend of the 6th and 7th of October.
