Liam Routt

Liam Routt

Liam first became a part of the local roleplaying scene in the early 80's, attending several Phantastacons as the youngest AD&D Dungeon Master. He left AD&D behind to write and run scenarios for RuneQuest and eventually Call of Cthulhu with the Cthulhu Conglomerate, and was a regular face at local conventions as a result.

Over the last decade he has made his own small mark on the roleplaying industry at large. In 1992 he started his own company, Darcsyde Productions, to release the English translation of a French roleplaying game, TRAUMA, and Chaosium have published his scenarios for both Call of Cthulhu and Nephilim

In August 1996, Liam was offered an Associate Editor position by Chaosium when, following the success of their Mythos CCG, they were in a position to expand their staff. He has been responsible for both the Elric! and Pendragon lines.

Amongst Liam's multitude of associations, of late he has written:

Liam is kindly acting as a demoist for the CheapAss Games company, who produce a number of very fine, and also very cheap, games of all sorts.
