It is an age of genetic engineering, robotics and seamless communications. Over 15 million people live in the concrete and glass metropolis where the past, present and future collide. The place is Tokyo, Japan and the year is 2025.
The Tokyo Police Force, from the Special Mobile Unit in their powered battle armour to the lowliest traffic cop, works like a well oiled machine. Some of the elite units are the Four Mobile Investigation Units, with the cream of Tokyo's Investigation and Forensic Officers.
This is the story of some of those officers from one of those elite investigative units and their hunt for something that has begun to prey on those in the Tokyo Night.
