Five Conquering Sages

They called them the elemental masters, five sages of exceptional ability, each of whom achieved complete mastery over one of the five elements.

The master of wood became known as the worry-defeating sage.

The master of fire became known as the sadness-defeating sage.

The master of earth became known as the fear-defeating sage.

The master of metal became known as the anger-defeating sage.

It is said that the master of water defeated happiness before he disappeared. Perhaps his disappearance was the cause of an imbalance that caused the fall of the Five Sages Tower. Perhaps not.
