Haisuku Ru Horror (The US Remake)
An American Horror Director in Tokyo
Controversial American Horror Director Ned Von Trippe has been sighted in Tokyo, Japan on the set of a new film. Elizabeth Vinton reports.
The film is rumoured to be produced by Isao Takashi, known for working with many foreign film directors.
Despite rumours that Von Trippe is in Japan to avoid charges in the US and Australia relating to the deaths and disappearances of cast and crew members who worked on 'Asylum: The Musical' and 'All Campers Must Die', it is alleged that Von Trippe is directing, and has been recruited by Takashi to lend new life to the Haisuku Ru (High School) Horror genre that has been dropping in popularity.
Whilst the new film, blatantly titled, 'A Haisuku Ru Horror', is not a remake of a previous film, it is widely anticipated that like its US/Japanese co-produced predecessors, it will be overflowing with supernatural serial killers, raven haired female ghosts, lesbian school girls, murderous bullies, angsty love triangles and sadistic teachers wrapped within a dumbed down plot.
The real intrigue is how many of the cast and crew will survive this one!
